Engineers Without Borders Zambia (EWB-Zambia) values your support. This refund and cancellation policy explains how we handle donation issues, refunds, and cancellations. These policies help you understand what happens when something goes wrong with a transaction.
1. General Donation Terms in Our Refund and Cancellation Policy
Your donation supports ongoing and future engineering projects across Zambia. We apply funds immediately to clean solar-powered water systems, renewable energy work, and youth empowerment programs.

All donations to EWB-Zambia are final and non-refundable.

We process each donation in ZMW, unless stated otherwise.

Your bank may charge extra fees based on its own rules.

When you complete a donation, you accept that the contribution is non-refundable.
2. Cancellation Rules in This Refund and Cancellation Policy
You cannot cancel a one-time donation after the transaction goes through.
In addition, we do not change or reissue donation receipts once they are processed.
3. Exceptions for Erroneous or Duplicate Donations
We only consider refunds in two situations:
Erroneous or Accidental Donation
For example, you entered the wrong amount or a technical issue caused an incorrect payment.
Duplicate Donation
You made the same donation twice when you intended to submit only one.
To request a refund, email us within seven (7) days of the transaction. Include:

Your full name and contact details

The date and amount of the donation(s)

The reason for your refund request
We review each request and send a response. In most cases, we complete the review within 14 working days. If we approve your request, we send the refund through the original payment method.
4. Security
We process all transactions through a secure payment gateway. This protects your personal information and your transaction details. In addition, we use encrypted systems that keep your data safe.
